What is Whimsy?
Whimsy describes something that is spur of the moment. Often, it is associated with simple child-like pleasures. Some examples include: Bubbles, balloons, swinging at a park, etc. These simple pleasures are a vital first step for those who have lost touch with finding joy in simple moments as they focus on the problems of the earth as a whole. The Department of Whimsy seeks to help those who struggle to find joy in the simple moments of the day to seek out these moments of whimsy and start with baby steps towards a path to lasting and true peace.
